After an initial wave of playtesting and feedback, I’ve made some changes to the game in an effort to better align difficulty and progression, ensuring the experience remains engaging at every stage. You should be able to transfer your assigned Knowstones to the same abilities on the new campaign sheet. Any missing abilities between the versions mean you can assign those leftover Knowstones to different abilities!
- The Knowstone pile is now called the Hold. This was done for current and future design space
- Curses still lock an Item in the Arsenal, but are now placed in your Hold (alongside Knowstones). The previous abilities Cleanse I-III were too strong and Cleanse I quickly negated the punishing Curse effects. Now, to lift the Curse, you have to collect Knowstones and stack them on top of the Curse in your Hold. Calm Mind I takes 3 Knowstones, Calm Mind II takes 2 Knowstones and Calm Mind II takes 1 Knowstone to lift the Curse and unlock the locked Item (and slot).
- A new Feat, Cursed with Knowledge, has you collect 5 Curse which is required before you can unlock Calm Mind I. This means you'll have to endure at least 5 Curses through a few runs before you can start minimizing their impact.
- Removed 1 Loadbearer passive ability. Between Loadbearer I (now just Loadbearer) and Master-at-Arms, 8 slots with all the other abilities should be more than enough. Yes, curses are more potent, but they can be reversed and minimized with abilities and may be encountered later in the run.
- Removed Sunderer. While Sunderer takes a long time to unlock due to its Feat requirement, once unlocked it completely negates the Resonance mechanism and makes the active abilities almost useless. The Breaker abilities are already strong on their own. By removing this passive ability, this allows the active abilities that can cycle Knowbles and Relics to shine a little brighter.
- I adjusted the costs of some abilities. I'm especially looking for feedback on the breaker abilities; how is their cost (including the Feat requirement), their impact once unlocked, etc.
- Further Optimized A4 layout. Previously I just changed the canvas size of the US Letter file to A4. I finally went in and manually aligned and adjusted the panels to suit the A4 format. Let me know if anything is still cut off or out of alignment.
I will make an updated playthrough with these new terms and changes tomorrow.

I just now noticed an error that gave Quartermaster the same ability as Loadmaster. It has since been fixed and files are up to date. Sorry about that!
