As the awakening rituals begin, The Dream Eater seizes the opportunity to launch its attack on the dream world. However, destroying a Wildseed in the waking world releases its remaining essence into the dream world, empowering the slumbering Ancients to strike back. The Dream Eater must be defeated before the last Ancient awakens to ensure the dream world remains safe until their return.

This 2-card expansion completely reverses the strategy of avoiding seed removal! The faster you remove seeds from the Grove, the more damage you deal to The Dream Eater. However, be careful not to remove too many too soon, as it may leave you unable to awaken all the Ancients. It's recommended to get familiar with the base game before diving into this expansion.

GAMEPLAY

Attacking The Dream Eater

Whenever a seed would be removed from the game while The Dream Eater is active, resolve it based on the following conditions:

• If there is no seed on The Dream Eater, place the seed on it and attack.
• If a different seed is already on The Dream Eater, remove that seed from the game, place the new seed on it, and attack.
• Wildward: If the new seed matches the existing one, remove it from the game and do not attack.

Attack: Count the number of slumbering Ancients in the Grove and reduce The Dream Eater’s health by that amount. If its health reaches zero, remove the seed on it from the game, then flip its health tracker over on top of it to mark its defeat.

END OF GAME

If The Dream Eater is defeated before the last Ancient awakens, you win the game! Otherwise, you lose.
