The game now has four expansions; The Raven (3 cards),  Starseed Shrine (2 cards), Foulroot (3 tokens), and Ancient Seedlings (3 tokens).

Ancient Seedlings

To bring a new Ancients to life, their seed must be included in an awakening ritual, drawing upon the ancient energies to spark their creation and ensure their vitality.

You’ll need 3 tokens that are slightly larger and/or a different color (preferably brown) than the Sacred Seeds.

SETUP

Mix the 3 Ancient Seeds in with the Sacred Seeds. When an Ancient Seed is drawn, draw another seed. Note: It’s possible that an Ancient has multiple Ancient Seeds on it.

WARDEN PHASE

Ancient Seeds can be picked up and moved just like Sacred Seeds.

ANCIENTS PHASE

When an Ancient Seed is on an Ancient during an awakening ritual, it becomes a Seedling! Remove it from the game instead of moving it to a Keeper.

INSTANT LOSS

If an Ancient Seed is consumed by an Ancient (or removed by Foulroot when playing with that expansion), instantly lose the game.

END OF GAME

When the final Ancient is awakened, all three Ancient Seeds must have become Seedlings to win the game.
